A productive KREAT working committee meeting was held to coordinate the committees, responsibilities, and ongoing preparations for the SITCF 2026.

With strong teamwork, clear direction, and a shared passion for culture, we continue working behind the scenes to bring SITCF 2026 to life.

We were honoured to be invited to join the 11th Anniversary Dinner of the Persatuan Ngajat Asal Iban (NGASI).

It was a meaningful evening celebrating Iban heritage, culture, friendship, and community, while strengthening the connections that bring us together through our shared appreciation of Sarawak’s rich cultural traditions.

KREAT was honoured to pay a courtesy visit to YB Datuk Snowdan Lawan, Deputy Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Sarawak, to present the vision of the Sarawak International Tattoo and Cultural Festival 2026 (SITCF 2026).

The meeting provided a valuable platform to share the festival's direction while receiving insightful feedback and strong encouragement from YB Datuk towards making SITCF 2026 a world-class celebration of Sarawak's culture, heritage, and creative excellence.

KREAT Association attended the MySeni Arts Incentive Scheme Technical Committee Meeting to present its proposal for the Sarawak International Tattoo Cultural Festival (SITCF).

The discussion was productive and received encouraging feedback. We also look forward to the opportunity to collaborate with the Sarawak Arts Council (Majlis Seni Sarawak - MSS) in bringing SITCF to life.

We sincerely thank everyone for their support and the opportunity extended to us. We hope this marks the beginning of a meaningful collaboration in strengthening Sarawak’s arts, culture, and creative industry. 

The Persatuan Kelingai, Kreatif dan Seni Persembahan Kuching would like to express its sincere appreciation to Mr. Felix Dixon, organizer of INKZONE, for his dedication and contribution in creating a platform that celebrates tattoo art, music, creative expression, and cultural exchange.

This token of appreciation was presented by Awin Borneo, President of Persatuan Kelingai, Kreatif dan Seni Persembahan Kuching, to Mr. Felix Dixon during INKZONE, a programme held in conjunction with the WAK Miri Festival 2026.

The gesture reflects mutual appreciation and recognition of efforts to promote arts, culture, and the creative industry in Sarawak. 

A productive short briefing and discussion session was held between YB Datuk Amar Professor Dr Sim Kui Hian, Deputy Premier of Sarawak and Minister for Public Health, Housing and Local Government, together with Awin Borneo, President of KREAT.

The discussion focused on gaining support and collaboration for the upcoming Sarawak International Tattoo & Cultural Festival 2026, aimed at celebrating cultural heritage, promoting tourism, and strengthening Sarawak’s creative industry on the international stage.

Honoured to meet with the Mayor WEE HONG SENG 黄鸿圣 today as part of the preparations for the Sarawak International Tattoo & Cultural Festival.

KRKREAT recently held a productive collaboration meeting with Piring7 in preparation for the upcoming Sarawak International Tattoo and Cultural Festival 2026.

During the session, Piring7 was appointed as the official Food & Beverage (F&B) partner, taking the lead in curating a diverse and exciting culinary experience for festival visitors.

This collaboration marks an important step in ensuring that guests will not only enjoy cultural showcases and tattoo artistry, but also a wide selection of delicious food and beverages.

KREAT would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to IMH Music House for inviting us to be part of the Sarawak International Festival Music Arts (SIFMA 6) event.

We are truly grateful for the opportunity to be involved and celebrate the arts together.

We are excited to announce a change in our event name from “Benua Borneo Tattoo Convention” to 𝑺𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒌 𝑰𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑻𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒐𝒐 & 𝑪𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒍 𝑭𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒂𝒍 (𝑺𝑰𝑻𝑪𝑭) effective immediately. This event will be taking place at Majlis Bandaraya Kuching Selatan (MBKS), Kuching, Sarawak on 23-25 October 2026.

SITCF by KREAT is more than just a tattoo convention. This event aims to celebrate the artistry, creativity and cultural significance of tattoos while fostering a sense of community and self-expression. Along side with SITCF by KREAT, let’s express ourself with traditional musics and dance. There will be a local talented handicraft booth to visit.

Our new name will allow us to achieve our organization objective, vision and mission through the constitution. While our name may be changing, our commitment to organize SITCF remains the same.
